How it works
From reservation to a finished porch
Four simple steps. You never touch a pumpkin unless you want to.
Reserve your date
Pick a package and a delivery date, then send the reservation form. We confirm by email or phone and collect a deposit to hold your spot.
We design for your home
Michelle and Stephanie plan a display that fits your entry, steps and style, plus any add ons you have chosen.
Delivered and installed
Our crew arrives on your delivery day with everything and styles it in place. You just open the door and enjoy it.
Optional pickup
When the season wraps, we can come back to remove everything. Nothing goes to waste: the pumpkins we pick up are fed to local farm animals.

About us
Two childhood best friends, one love of a well dressed front door
Founded by Michelle and Stephanie, both native Houstonians, the proper porch was born from a shared passion for seasonal home decor and design. Based in Cypress, Texas, we aim to bring warmth and style to your front door.
From pumpkins to pines, we offer luxury seasonal porch styling with custom design, delivery and installation throughout Houston, Cypress, West University, Bellaire, Memorial and River Oaks. Our pumpkins are sourced from local farmers, so every porch supports growers close to home.

How do I reserve a fall porch?
Choose a package and a delivery date, then send the reservation form below. We confirm by email or phone, answer any questions, and collect a deposit to hold your date.
When do you deliver and install?
Fall 2026 delivery dates are Friday, October 16, Saturday, October 17, Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24. Delivery is $90. Windows are estimates and can shift with weather or traffic during peak season.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are nonrefundable because of scheduling, product sourcing and seasonal inventory commitments. If you need to reschedule, we will accommodate when availability allows.
What happens after installation?
Once the install is complete, ongoing maintenance such as watering, repositioning, weather wear or accidental damage is the responsibility of the homeowner. Fresh products naturally deteriorate over time.
Can you remove everything after the season?
Yes. Optional pickup and disposal is available after Halloween ($125), on November 6 or 7 ($125), or after Thanksgiving ($150). Pumpkins we pick up are fed to local farm animals, so nothing goes to waste.
Where do the pumpkins come from?
We source our pumpkins from local farmers. That keeps them fresh for the season and supports growers in our own community.
Do you do commercial or custom installs?
Yes. We style storefronts, offices and large scale residential entries. Choose The Ultimate Porch (custom) package to schedule an appointment, or mention your project in the form and we will design a quote.
Will you photograph my porch?
Unless you ask otherwise in writing, we may photograph completed installs for our portfolio and social media. Addresses and identifying details are omitted or blurred when possible.
